Jun Polistico’s career began in Manila in the seventies. He recorded several hit albums with Villar Records and even performed at the “Thrilla in Manila” boxing match in 1975. From 1976 to 1983 he toured with the Society of Seven as its lead singer in Hawaii, Reno, Lake Tahoe, Vancouver B.C., Chicago, and Anaheim, CA. He recorded three albums with the Society of Seven including the hit song “I’ll Love You Through It All” which was number one for 16 weeks on Hawaiian radio stations. He also performed for the Jerry Lewis Telethon in 1980 and 1981 on a Honolulu telecast.

During the 80s he continued to go back and forth between the Philippines and the US. In 1984 he performed a major concert in the Philippines with Pilita Corrales. Back in the US, he also formed the Valentino band in Las Vegas performing in hotels and casinos throughout Nevada and major US cities, attracting mainstream audiences and his fellow countrymen.
In 1990, he landed a recording contract with Viva Records in Manila. A platinum album earned him the Awit Award for “Sana’y Maghintay Ang Walang Hanggang” as Best Male Interpreter. Two more albums followed. Throughout the nineties he also continued performing live concerts and even guested on several TV shows in the Philippines, Australia and the US.

These days he is based primarily in Las Vegas where he still regularly performs to this day.
