It would be easy to dismiss Fil-Am Seattle native Primo Kim as just another Jazz crooner but he does have more depth to him. Check out his album “To Be Near” especially the tracks “Why You” and “Right Turn”. Going back to this record, it’s all about the B-side, an excellent slice of upbeat Jazz-Funk.
