The Tilt Down Men consisted of Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, Val Sotto, Boy Co (deceased), Penny de la Riva, Delio Pascual & Burnell Bunch (deceased). Here we have a cover of “Get Ready”, a Motown song written by Smokey Robinson, which resulted in two hit records for the label: a U.S. No. 29 version by The Temptations in 1966, and a U.S. No. 4 version by Rare Earth in 1970.

Additional info: Tito and Val would later form the group “VST & Company”, with his brother Vic. Tito would later embark on his political career, in 1988 as Vice-mayor of Quezon City, and served in the Philippine Senate for four terms (1992-1998, 1998-2004, 2010-2016, Sotto is currently on his fourth term from 2016 onwards).
